seriouslymedia is an experiment in real-time search for topic specific content. We curate each topic initially and then apply technology to filter, classify, semantically understand and score/rank each article. The goal is to create automated online magazines focused on an area of human passion.

Or, to put it another way: "the goal is to greedily rip off content from elsewhere and try to make a few bucks from pageviews and clickthroughs, because we're too lazy and stupid to write our own content."
